Grissom has been a bit standoffish and reserved in her interactions to date, so I wanted to introduce a different dynamic with Cember, whose jokiness and general likeability tends to win people over. It’s hard not to like Cember. Unless you’re Ril, of course!

And this is why I want to see Grissom have her own spin-off. She displays so many traits that I so rarely see collectively in a character.
It’s still a dream of mine to one day be able to do a series of short stories that feature different characters within the RUNNERS universe. If only I had the time! Where’s this cloning technology I keep hearing about??!
