In the original script, Goshen just comments on the volatility of the Crush and his desire to burn it all, but he didn’t actually do anything with it. When it came time to draw the sequence, I felt like there had already been plenty of talk, so I wanted to show a little action to cap off the scene. So I tweaked the sequence to have Goshen actually breaking off the chunk and throwing it into the fire to cause the big explosion. Plus, pairing the visual with the statement makes the statement that much more powerful that just the words alone.
