I’m really happy with how this scene turned out and how much ground I was able to cover: introducing new characters, Roka’s backstory, reactions to his crime, info on USP operations, and a bit of fun camaraderie to boot. I’m especially happy with the roller coaster of emotional beats I got to run Roka through in a very short amount of time.
And then there’s the one last emotional turn…
