Glowy stuff is cool. I have to admit I really like the look of the glowing hot rope on this page, especially set against the cool blue of the nighttime tint. As for the hot rope itself, I just thought it would be an interesting technology that’s fairly basic. Nothing fancy, but believable. Plus, it seemed like the most elegant solution to solve the dual problem of (1) restraining the bad guys so Roka and company could get away, while (2) not leaving them tied up and at the mercy of the elements indefinitely.
For the record, Roka has a bit of the hot rope hanging from his belt on the cover to “The Big Snow Job” issue #1. It’s certainly not the entire length; just enough to look kinda cool. I have no idea why he’d be carrying that small amount there. Maybe he just wants to keep his left thigh warm. 🙂
maybe because of the reason he just said?
It’s EXTREMELY STRONG?
There can always be a use for extremely strong rope, rope is as important as a towel.
The color on this page is just awesome!
I don’t know why the Runners have money problems, Roka could easily become a salesperson for hot rope 😀
I’m anxious to see what Ril has found out and Warsaw provides the intrigue.
Counting down to Sunday…
y’know… we have hot rope here already…
