The artwork for The Big Snow Job #3 is now completely done! Woo hoo! I just finished the lettering last week. Weird thing is I don’t really have a need for single-issue covers anymore, now that I’m doing it as a webcomic. But I kinda feel like I should do them anyway as chapter break images. So I guess issue #3 isn’t COMPLETELY done until I finish that image. Dangit.
For those of you in the area, I will be setting up at the Boston Comic-Con at the Back Bay Events Center, Oct 24-25. Should be a fun show, so please feel free to stop by and say “hi.”
And here’s a recent article/interview posted online about Runners, in conjunction with the upcoming Boston show.
A new interview with me is up at Secret Identity, a great and very funny podcast being done by Brian LeTendre and Matt Herring. I sat down with Brian recently at ConnectiCon and chatted with him about the new RUNNERS arc, the commentary on RunnersUniverse, and even some older work like Meltdown.
Check out the podcast here (my interview is towards the very end).
In addition to the previously-mentioned interview, another fine sci-fi site, www.RevolutionSF.com, just posted a nice Q&A as well!
Check out the interview here, and thanks RevolutionSF for the spotlight!
A bit belated (due to my being out of the country in Morocco), but the sci-fi news site Republibot just posted an in-depth 2-part interview with me on their site!
The long Q&A covers everything from my years on The Tick, the Meltdown comic series for Image, and of course Runners, including Runners characters that originally started out as superhero concepts and some frustrations in finding an audience.
Check out Part I and Part II of the interview, and thanks, Republibot, for the coverage!
