It was a bit tricky trying to come up with different ways of NOT showing Rook on this page. I’m particularly happy with panel 4, with Rook’s arm and body framing Maeki.

Just kidding. Story-wise there is only one logical reveal, but I have to admit I didn’t see this one coming.
I’m thinking either Grissom or another one of Sky’s “sisters”.
It’s can’t be Grissom because our girl has a couple large spikes on her forearms and we’d see the sleeve styled to account for it.
I think it’s the “sister” that was put in the escape pod.
Why do you think it’s Grissom? She would need a teleporter to jump between locations.
Don’t be silly. It’s Rookface Rooksha, the alien with a rook chess piece for a head, because Sean spent just a little too long working on The Tick…dreaming up the wackiest of whacked out characters.
