I like dialogue that ends one scene and ties into the next, so I often have it trail off on the former and pick up in the latter. It does feel a little weird though when itโs just a half sentence, as it is here. More on that in the next postโฆ

Weird? Nah, not for experienced comic readers. ๐
Now we wait in anticipation.
Will an interesting bit about Roka’s past will be revealed soon?
I’m delaying looking at the posts on Patreon.
This is my preferred way of reading the comic. ๐
Interesting. I feel like most people would rather read a batch at once instead of one page at a time. Glad to hear you prefer the webcomic format here! I like all the different delivery methods (Patreon batches, Webtoon vertical scrolling, comiXology panel-by-panel Guided View, and of course printed graphic novels) but posting here is by far my favorite, since I am able to do the commentary, which I think is fun. And I like being able to read comments and respond!
I bet Roka’s initial instinct to not go will turn out to have been correct. [cue foreboding music]
If only he knew they were all lining up, AIRPLANE!-style, to take turns slapping him in the face…
It’s not weird at all, it’s just the nature of webcomics that are intended for later printing. If you did not make the comic with forethought for print and did not publish at least 3 times per week, it might be weird. But as a slow reveal of a comic that is intended to be printed from inception, it’s expected.
Plus it adds more weight to the comic. So whoever is revealed in the next page’s panel, regardless of their bearing, will be much more theatrical.
It’ll be nice to see…
… Roka’s old friend he got shot five times… ๐
… six-armed koala guy we all thought was dead… o.O
… Fnorb Riprawk! Purveyor of little, holographic dashboard hula girls! ๐
… a bowl of lint. *expression for seeing dramatic lint.*
“Fnorb Riprawk!” You’ve hacked into my character name (and occupation) file again! ๐
