Ahhh, as jerky as he is, I do feel Ril’s earned the right to some sassy grumbling. With their current trek record so far, I imagine he probably wouldn’t be surprised if the scrap turned out to be supplies used to build a Root Beetle Orphanage, and that the payment is in Good Karma… that they have to give IOU for because they actually spent all their Good Karma on the Time Traveling Baby Hospital they built three months ago, haha!
