And here, the crew has finally arrives at the planet Ciceron. From here on, it’s all snow, all the time!
The name “Ciceron” came from a very weird place. I tend to draw inspiration from all sorts of things, and I often come across words that I think just sound cool or interesting. In the movie musical Chicago, there’s a number called the “Cell Block Tango,” in which someone mentions a Hotel Cicero. I thought “Cicero” was a cool-sounding name, so it became Ciceron.
Maybe at some point I’ll come up with five other planets called “Pop,” “Six,” “Squish,” “Uh Uh,” and “Lipschitz.”
Ril, lol, he’s just pist he had to take this damn
snow mission, and he’s probably even more pist
he has to transport Yak. There has to be another
scene where he’s rocking the cigar like a bad ass
in Bad Goods.
Briliant.
Doesn’t cicero mean ‘chickpea’, or a Roman statesman/philosopher
Having just finished watching the HBO series “Rome,” I am now aware of that other Cicero. Awesome series, by the way, for anyone who hasn’t checked it out yet.
I’ve been to Uhuh. The air’s toxic. Avoid. 🙂
looks like home
I love how you fit these clever little exchanges into every part of the comic, including pages designed to establish the scene and during intense action.
