Maybe it’s just the toy collector part of me, but I like to design vehicles that have moving parts here are there. With the rogue ship, I gave it rotating guns that can turn to fire directly behind it (or below or above it), as in the scene on this page. It also has small wings that can open up to reveal additional weaponry.
The Mosquito has a moving cannon that can travel along a track on the right side of the ship from the topside to the bottom. That was inspired by the gun on the Colonial Marines APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) in the movie Aliens.
I hope Roka considers having a duplicate track-cannon installed on the other side should he and the crew ever score enough loot to afford it. Right now, it looks like you could turn the Mosquito into a sitting duck with one lucky blast on the cannon itself. Maybe the Tique Amara has/had a Mosquito of its own they could salvage a second cannon from.
