Not sure why I came up with “the candy bandit” as a nickname for Cember, but it definitely suits him. No doubt the origin of that nickname will someday be told…
Because even when he’s robbing you, he’s as sweet as candy.
or maybe because he gives you new cavities
he LIVES in a cavity. it’s a HUGE cavity. Sure, it’s in a ‘roid, but still, a cavity is a cavity.
or.. I like the thought that he robbed some merchant – who turned out to be a successful candy magnate. It’s the sort of nickname that comes from a colossal screw-up
Or maybe they call him that ’cause of his somewhat hyper, possibly sugar-revved, manner.
Or maybe he just REALLY likes sweets…
I realize we haven’t seen so much as a single peppermint stick on board the ‘Brimia, but that could be because any candy left is being carefully hidden from Cember Kogi, the Candy Bandit!

All kidding aside, it does suit Cember’s perfectly.
