As the resident marauder (I mean “bandit”) of the group, I wanted Cember’s guns to have that old-time piratey feel, so I used buccaneer pistols as a starting point in designing them.
I also thought it’d be interesting to have him holster his guns with the butts facing forward, so he actually crosses his arms over in front of his body to draw them from the opposite sides (IE right hand grabs left gun and vice versa). He’s flashy that way.
Cember is quickly becoming my favorite character.
He’s definitely the most comedic of the characters, which makes him a lot of fun to write. But I like that he’s not just a buffoon. He’s got some serious skills, which you’ll witness very soon…
