Not much to say here except that I really like how the aerial view of the clay pits turned out. I pretty much never do real mapped-out perspective guides, with grids of lines drawn to actual vanishing points. I tend to just eyeball things for all my perspective shots. I think in most cases, I can get close enough to pass muster unless someone looks really hard. I just find it more fun to draw that way than with actual ruled-out lines.
Being able to visualize perspective shots has always been something I’ve been able to do decently. Early on, I thought that was just a part of being an artist, but I later found out that it is indeed something that many great artists struggle with. So I guess I’m glad it’s something that comes a little more naturally for me. Now to work on the things that don’t come as naturally. Like everything else. Ha ha.
Where’s Sky?
Hitting up the space ATM, putting a run on the space bank. Turns out her neck tattoo is a log-in for the royal bank account.
Dangit! I knew i was forgetting someone. JK. She will be showing up shortly!
The first panel looks really nice.
We’ve seen quite a variety of locations so far.
Maybe make some postcards from the Runners Universe as Kickstarter rewards or maybe general merch?
Hmm. Interesting. Some RUNNERS postcards would be kinda fun. Will mull on that!
Hey Jayd, I know you’re new to this life-on-the-run thing, so here’s some advice: It’s best not to hang out in the city where you publicly betrayed your old mob boss. And if you ARE going to stay in that city, don’t do it because you want to be part of the community that you JUST CHEATED earlier in the day.
(I hope that comment doesn’t sound too critical. I thought it was more amusing than anything.)
Ha ha. No offense taken. A valid point BTW. I think Jayd will be able to conjure some orange glasses and an orange fake mustache and will be able to totally and convincingly change her entire appearance!
