I’m a sucker for scene transitions that make use of panels with similar compositions. I used it a lot in the Meltdown comic I did for Image for each transition from the character’s present to a past flashback. Here I went with a direct Bennesaud shot to a snowman Bennesaud.
Coloring-wise, I’m particularly happy with the dusk-like feel of these next two pages. I think that very light pink hue really helped to sell it.
LOL. awesome.
I think he captured everyone’s likeness very well, except for Sky. He better do a little work on that before she comes back and kicks his butt.
Actually Bocce didn’t get everyone’s likeness exactly right. But don’t worry. He’ll be addressing it in the next page…
I’m not getting too attached to snow Ril. I don’t have high hopes for his continued existence. 🙂
Love it.
… this is exactly the sort of thing I’d do, given enough snow and enough boredom. Except I’d probably stand there lecturing my captive audience afterwards….
Also, I don’t know if I missed this detail or what, but I find it hilarious that Bocce is wearing hot pink boots.
