And here we have the bartender again, sweeping up the broken glass from Roka and Cember’s run-in with Hamron and the police. Sucks to be the bartender. I will say though that in the few panels in which he appears, I do like him a lot. So maybe he’ll pop up again sometime in the future…

@ Tiff: Yeah, but Al would probably be charging everybody involved (that he could get a hold of) for damages & drinks. & also having the AI do the sweeping.
Why do I know that this is not the end of Hamron the not quite so handsome as he used to be?
I think it’s safe to say Hamron will be popping up again….
He (the bartender) could always be a running gag. Everytime the crew of the Brimia gets into major trouble at a bar it turns out that this poor guy had moved there before them. Might be cliche’, but it’d be workable. 😀
That would certainly be funny. They did something similar in the animated Avatar show, where a cabbage merchant showed up every now and then as a running gag and repeatedly had his cart destroyed by whatever action was going on around him. I would worry about that being a bit TOO jokey for the Runners universe, but that’s not to say I’m above doing it anyway. 🙂
