This alien was one of my favorite designs from the first story arc. I just thought it would be funny to have a used car salesman with one of those dangling, glowy bait lures that you see on deep sea anglerfish. It seemed fitting.

You need to color the series, if only for this page. Angler-fishman is my favorite peripheral character yet!
Agreed! Coloring the series will probably happen at some point, but I can’t imagine when. Given how much time it will take to do, I feel like that effort would be better spent on continuing with the new stories.
Plus, I did a radical overhaul of all the art in the first issue of this story arc, practically redrawing a LOT of it between the original publication and the subsequent Free Comic Book Day version (which is also the version that appears in the graphic novel collection). So I feel like if I went back and colored it, I’d be redoing the entire issue all over again for a third time! Ack!
