Welcome to Runners Universe!
I’ve been doing Runners for a while now, releasing the first story arc, Runners: Bad Goods, as five single issue comics and then as a graphic novel in 2005. But now I’ll be releasing the entire critically-acclaimed series for FREE!
Starting Monday, March 2, 2009, I will start posting the complete Bad Goods story arc here on runnersuniverse.com so everyone can get the chance to check out the series in its entirety. New pages will continue to post every weekday, Monday through Friday, 5 days a week.
Immediately following the first story, the long-awaited new color series, Runners: The Big Snow Job will begin posting, which should be around Sept 1.
I hope you enjoy the series and be sure to spread the word!
Sean,
I love your work! I was just wondering, though, if you had plans to print volume 2 in any format in the future? Free distribution is great, and I will definitely be reading online. However, being from a generation before the one that grew up on the Internet, I still personally prefer print rather than electronic media.
Thanks for the kinds words, T’sinadree! That seems to be the question of the day as someone just asked the same question over in the forum. This is what I posted there:
I won’t be releasing the story in single issue form, since the webcomic is taking the place of that, but I’m a big fan of graphic novel collections, especially ones loaded with goodies. So I definitely plan to collect The Big Snow Job into graphic novel form once it finishes posting online. I don’t have any set release date right now since it’s still a ways off, but as the time draws nearer, I’ll certainly let everyone know!
BTW, I’m also of the generation that prefers physical books to digital, so I’ll be wanting a print copy of volume 2 for myself as well!
Sean-congrats on starting Runners up online! I will check each update! Great comic!
Thanks Howie! Glad to have you aboard the RUNNERS train. Or I guess I should say the RUNNERS starship!
