Kickstarter Rewards: Character Cards

February 23, 2013

Here are all of the 4″ x 6″ Character Cards that will be available as part of the Runners: The Big Snow Job Kickstarter campaign. There will be 8 total, with each one featuring a pair of characters. Lower tier rewards will come with one random Character Card (which makes for a decent bookmark), but all mid-level and higher rewards will come with a complete set.

Kickstarter Rewards: Inked Illustrations

February 23, 2013

Here are some bigger image samples of the 3 different illustration reward levels for the Runners: The Big Snow Job Kickstarter project. The illustrations will all be inked artwork over blue pencils on bristol board, and each will be custom drawn to feature whichever character(s) the backer has chosen. The base illustration reward will be an 8.5″ x 11″ bust portrait (waist-up), the mid-level will be an 11″ x 17″ single character full body, and the top level will be an 11″ x 17″ two-character full body illustration.

Kickstarter Rewards: Prints

February 23, 2013

Here are the three 11″ x 17″ prints that I will be offering as part of the Kickstarter campaign. They are the images originally done for The Big Snow Job chapter cover #1, chapter cover #3, and the graphic novel front cover.

Kickstarter Rewards: Expanded Sketchbook

February 23, 2013

Here are some sample pages from the Runners: The Big Snow Job Sketchbook, one of the many Kickstarter rewards available. While the actual graphic novel will have 10 pages of select sketchbook content, this expanded stand-alone sketchbook will contain much more material. It will be a 64-page, perfect bound, comic-sized book chockful of concept sketches and designs for the various aliens, costumes, props, weapons, environments, and space yak that appear in the story. Each page will also include plenty of commentary describing the thought process that went into the designs. Much of the content and commentary has also been posted here at www.runnersuniverse.com over the course of the story, but I figured it’d be nice to have a single printed volume of the work to save people the effort of all that pesky clicking.
