Kickstarter Sketch Samples

So I spent yesterday whipping up some samples for the 3 different sketch reward levels for the upcoming Snow Job Kickstarter project. I figure the 3 levels will be for an 8 x 11″ bust sketch (waist-up), an 11 x 17″ single character full body sketch, and an 11 x 17″ two-character full body sketch. “Sketch” may not be the best word since the pieces will be fully inked over the blue pencils, but that’s what I’m calling them for now. Maybe I’ll go with “illustration” instead.  Anyway, backers will be able to choose any character(s) from the series. Or perhaps a space yak, if you’re into that sort of thing. And who isn’t?

I would LOVE to draw that! Maybe someone will request it.

Great to hear from you! Can’t wait for this project! I bought the first Runners book and absolutely LOVED the professional quality of it! Where did you do the printing?

  6. Sean Wang says:

I got the first book printed at Quebecor/Lebonfon in Canada. I think they have since split into two companies, with Lebonfon handling smaller print runs. I thought they did an awesome job and couldn’t be happier with the final product. Sadly, this time around, their quote was a bit too high and put them out of contention for the new book. But I definitely stand by the quality of the first book they did for me!
