In this sequence, I decided to try something a little different with my coloring. Usually, I make the shading colors just darker and more saturated versions of their respective base colors. But for this sequence, I decided to just do all the shading as a single blue-gray color in a Photoshop layer set to Multiply. Instead of just making shaded areas darker, it also adds a blue-ish tint. The process is a bit of a shortcut over the regular way I work, but for a nighttime scene, I thought the blue-ish tint to the shadows would work.

The layout of the location was a bit tough to get right. I wanted it to have some fairly open areas but I also needed it to be filled with enough stuff (huts, shacks, rock outcroppings, etc) for everyone to hide behind during the actual fighting. I think it ended up hitting the right balance.
