I just tried to make it look a bit spacey and sci-fi-ish. I guess Bocce could still whack someone with it and do some damage that way. As for the bug aliens, I'm sure I'll bring them back again at some point. I really like them too, and plus... one less alien race to design for a future story! They're trying to get TO them. But yeah, the ship guns aren't meant for really fine targeting, so they'd probably cause more damage in this case than Roka would want.
