I love epilogue scenes. I used to do them quite a bit when I was working on the Tick comic series, in the seasonal special one-shots and especially in the 6-issue Tick and Arthur title.

In this case, I felt the need to explain some of Tylo’s reasoning. He of course knows what’s in the containers, so if two turn up empty, he has to suspect Roka of withholding information….unless he already feels he knows what happened. And it also shows Tylo to be a smart man, to have worked out a contingency plan in advance with his contact on board the Amara just in case the ship came under attack while in transit with the goods.

Which brings us to that other lifepod floating the the Gamelon Cluster that Hamron missed finding back in issue #3…
