And again, you get to see Bocce really strut his stuff with his arm in this sequence. In this case, I was a bit inspired by a scene in Terminator 2 where the T-1000 grew extra arms to pilot a helicopter while also firing a gun out the windshield. I figured it would be cool to have Bocce’s arm used to pilot the skybike while also wrapping around Sky to secure her, while ALSO forming a small shield to protect them both.

What I’m waiting for is when he tries to overextend himself and is stuck with a very tired arm.

Hmmmm, Jall, I think that the arm is powered from a verrrrrry powerful and long life source. The arm may not get tired per say, but it would get overextended as to number of tasks, the power used by the tasks, and the computer processing capacity of the brain/computer interface that is giving the commands to the force projectors that give shape to the arm.
Bocce’s arm does seem to be limited to the extent that it can support two bodies weight, but not when the weight in question suddenly increases. (I,m thinking by 2 or 3 times). But, the shield and seat belt are simple shapes and the maintenance of them would be handed off to sub processors while the main processor handles the task of driving the flycycle. The shots the police are firing, since they appear to be energy bolts, are being absorbed, or otherwise dissapated. The load on the power source is transient, and the system has nanoseconds to recover until the next shot lands.
I just hope that he is not caught is a situation where the shield is struck with a number of impacts at once.
Hehe what a way to spend my birthday :D
