So the four “horns” on Cember’s back.
Given Cember’s six eyes and six leg tentacles, I figured his race might have evolved from an organism that used to have radial symmetry, as opposed to bilateral symmetry (the more common left/right mirroring of features found in humans and a lot of the more advanced creatures in the animal kingdom).
I thought the more primitive versions of Cember’s race would have had six arm-like features with radial symmetry as well. Over time, the species evolved to have two main functioning arms, with the other four gradually withering into the vestigial horns that they now all have on their backs.
That’s cool.
